General Passenger Lift

ในการออกแบบ Lift ชนิดนี้นั้น สำหรับผู้โดยสารทั่วไปและต้องออกแบบ Lift ให้เหมาะสมกับการใช้งานของคนพิการด้วย ซึ่งจะไม่ให้มีการใช้งานร่วมกันกับ Bed Lift Service and Good Lift ในการออกแบบต้องคำนึงถึงเรื่องการแยกของ Lift Lobby ด้วยว่าจะต้องแยกจากกัน เพื่อป้องกันการใช้งานที่ไม่เหมาะสมและเกิดการผิดพลาดในการใช้งาน

Bed lifts

ใช้สำหรับขนส่งผู้ป่วย เตียงผู้ป่วย พร้อมด้วยอุปกรณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้อง และหมอหรือพยาบาลที่เกี่ยวข้องในการเคลื่อนย้าย ขนาดในการออกแบบไม่ควรเล็กกว่า 1,000 kg และขนาดกว้างไม่น้อยกว่า 1,400 mm และยาวไม่น้อยกว่า 1,800 mm

Service and Goods Lift ควรต้องออกแบบให้ Lift มีทั้ง Lift สะอาดและ Lift สกปรกใช้ในการขนย้ายที่มีความแตกต่างกัน ซึ่งขนาดของ Lift ไม่ควรมีขนาดที่น้อยกว่า 2,500 kg

Fire Fighting Lift จะต้องออกแบบ Lift สำหรับการหนีไฟและใช้ในการดับเพลิงอย่างน้อย 1 ตัว แนะนำให้ออกแบบเป็น Bed Lift เนื่องจากเพื่อใช้ในการอพยพการหนีไฟของผู้ป่วยติดเตียงที่ไม่สามารถเคลื่อนทีได้ และ Lift ทั้งหมดจะต้องออกแบบให้รับไฟฟ้าจาก Generator เท่านั้น
